Float Mounted - Product details

All Float Mounted Sizes are "Ready-To-Hang" 

  • They have been laminated to  protect the photographic image from moisture and dirt.
  • The ultra-hard scratch resistant laminated surface is water resistant and can be cleaned easily.
  • The Photo is then mounted on a lightweight, yet rigid, acrylic substrate which is excellent for mounting photographic images thus giving it a sturdy surface to hang on the wall. 
  • The acrylic substrate is then attached to a wood frame on the back, enabling it to  “Float off the wall” it is hanging on. Floating artwork creates such a lovely effect that can enhance the overall beauty of the artwork and look great on any wall.
  • Easy to hang (all hardware provided) or stand on shelf (8x10, 6x19 sizes).
  • Finished size may vary up to 3/16" due to trimming/finishing of artwork.
  • The artwork is created using pigment inks for the highest image quality saturation, depth of color, and brilliance. Printed on archival paper.

Old historic vintage Texaco Gas Station#2, Indiana

This is a photograph I captured traveling the back roads of United States.

The image was originally photographed on film then scanned and digitally enhanced. This particular image was full color and I modified it removing selective color and applying various filtration to highlight the vehicles and give it that added vintage look

This is a Ready to Hang Original Photograph.

All Float Mounted Images are "Ready To Hang". They have been laminated to protect the photographic image from moisture and dirt.The ultra-hard scratch resistant laminated surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just avoid direct sunlight.

I then float mount the image on a lightweight, yet rigid, expanded polyvinyl substrate which is excellent for mounting photographic images thus giving it a sturdy surface to hang on the wall. 

The substrate board is then attached to 2 pcs of wood extensions on the back enabling it to  “Float off the wall” it is hanging on. Floating artwork creates such a lovely effect that can enhance the overall beauty of the artwork and look great on any wall.

I provide the 3M® command strips needed to hang the photograph. No additional tools are needed, no holes in the wall, no heavy glass to worry about breaking.

This hanging system I use is the easiest, safest, most ideal way to hang all my photographic art.
