Float Mounted - Product details

All Float Mounted Sizes are "Ready-To-Hang"

They have been laminated to protect the photographic image from moisture and dirt.
The ultra-hard scratch resistant laminated surface is water resistant and can be cleaned easily.
The Photo is mounted on a lightweight, yet rigid, acrylic substrate which is excellent for mounting photographic images thus giving it a sturdy surface to hang on the wall.
The acrylic substrate is then attached to a wood frame on the back, enabling it to “Float off the wall” it is hanging on. Floating artwork creates such a lovely effect that can enhance the overall beauty of the artwork and look great on any wall.
Easy to hang (all hardware provided) or stand on shelf.
Finished size may vary up to 3/16" due to trimming/finishing of artwork.
The artwork is created using pigment inks for the highest image quality saturation, depth of color, and brilliance. Printed on archival paper.

Print-only sizes are also available with the image printed edge to edge and laminated.

THE SWAN STREET DINER CAR

The Swan Street Diner is an example of one of the early Sterling Company diner cars made by the J.B. Judkins Company of Merrimac, Mass. The company fabricated diner cars, each numbered upon completion, from 1936 to 1942. The Swan Street Diner is No. 397 and was manufactured in 1937. The Larkin Development Group purchased the diner and brought it to Buffalo and fully restored it to its original design. The interior enamel panels, bar stools and wood trim are all original. The booths have been newly fabricated in the former footprint of the Newark Diner booths. The counter has been rebuilt according to the original glass top design.

I then float mount the image on a lightweight, yet rigid, expanded polyvinyl substrate which is excellent for mounting photographic images thus giving it a sturdy surface to hang on the wall.

The substrate board is then attached to 2 pcs of wood extensions on the back enabling it to “Float off the wall” it is hanging on. Floating artwork creates such a lovely effect that can enhance the overall beauty of the artwork and look great on any wall.

Your order will be printed, signed, assembled and packed by the artist, just for you. Once that is complete your order will ship within 3-7 business days via USPS-Priority or UPS. You will receive a personal email confirming receipt of your order and the expected ship and arrival dates.

Once your item is shipped, it should arrive within the timelines specified by USPS or UPS. We cannot be responsible for delays in transit time caused by adverse weather conditions, missed hub pickups or failed delivery attempts
