The Aurora Theatre opened in 1925 with a showing of Madame Sans Gene starring Gloria Swanson. The theatre was considered state of the art and equipped for motion pictures, dramatic performances, and musical entertainment. The Aurora now operates seven days a week, usually incorporating sixteen movies per week.
