Float Mounted - Product details

All Float Mounted Sizes are "Ready-To-Hang" 

  • They have been laminated to  protect the photographic image from moisture and dirt.
  • The ultra-hard scratch resistant laminated surface is water resistant and can be cleaned easily.
  • The Photo is mounted on a lightweight, yet rigid, acrylic substrate which is excellent for mounting photographic images thus giving it a sturdy surface to hang on the wall. 
  • The acrylic substrate is then attached to a wood frame on the back, enabling it to  “Float off the wall” it is hanging on. Floating artwork creates such a lovely effect that can enhance the overall beauty of the artwork and look great on any wall.
  • Easy to hang (all hardware provided) or stand on shelf.
  • Finished size may vary up to 3/16" due to trimming/finishing of artwork.
  • The artwork is created using pigment inks for the highest image quality saturation, depth of color, and brilliance. Printed on archival paper.
Print-only sizes are also available with the image printed  edge to edge and laminated.

About the Pearl Street Grill and Brewery

The building in which Pearl Street resides was originally built in 1870. The first owner was a local dressmaker, Mrs. George Palmer. The business was sold in 1891 to H.O. Putnam, another dressmaker. The building ceased being a dressmaking operation in 1919, after nearly 50 years of being home to the dressmaking business. That year the R.C. Neal Co. took over the building and established a hardware store. During the time in which the hardware store operated, a restaurant set up shop in the building as well. Mac Garry’s restaurant operated out of the basement of the building from 1927 until 1963. When in 63′ the street grade was changed with the arrival of the expressway and the windows looking into Mac Garry’s were now below ground. It was 20 years before another restaurant opened, Garcia’s Irish Pub, in 1983. Garcia’s was the only business in the building from 1983 until 1996.  In 1997, the dawn of Pearl Street Grill & Brewery began.
    Float Mount - Image is mounted on a polystyrene high-density rigid board and protected with a premium UV laminate. A 1/2" spacer is applied to the back and is hidden from view giving the image the appearance of floating off the wall. Available for prints sized 16x20 and up.
