Related Information
This Buffalo, NY image was personally photographed and digitally edited by myself, Bill Jman-Jman Photography
A century-old police station in Black Rock – where anarchist Leon Czolgosz was taken after he shot President William McKinley in 1901. Designed by Frederick C.H. Mohr, the Romanesque Revival-style station was built in 1894, and was used by the Buffalo police until 1955, when it was transferred to the Police Athletic League. It's the second-oldest surviving station in the city, and one of only two 19th-century buildings still standing that are associated with the Buffalo. It is now owned by a private company.
